Reitze Smits & Bart Jacobs
‘For two to play’ is the title of old English music for two players at one keyboard: inspiration for the name of this new organ duo and for the new compositions that Reitze Smits wrote for two organists.
Alternating with these pieces, works by 17th century English composers such as Tomkins and Purcell, but also by early 20th century composers such as Debussy and Ravel, are played. The great variety of styles and the versatile use of the organ by two experienced organists make their performances a magnificent event.

They have played concerts in Leuven, Brussels, Béthune and Reims. In 2024 they performed for the Organisation Oude Muziek in a series of concerts in Zutphen, Nijmegen, Leeuwarden and Amsterdam.
