These duos are arranged in pairs, like Scarlatti's sonatas. Sometimes the connection is clear through the used writing style or theme, sometimes it is based on contrast.
But other combinations of the duos are also possible, at the player's choice.
All duos fit on a keyboard from C to c”.
They can also be played on other keyboard instruments.
Sometimes two keyboards are needed, some registrations are indicated.

Errata, a few errors have to correct in this edition:
– Duo 2: in the first passage without barlines on page 8, the key signatures are placed irregularly.
But the left hand should always play on the black keys, even when there is no sharp before the note.
– Duo 6, page 17: the indications for I and II, +reed and +3′ respectively, must be exchanged.
The voice crossing in measure 76 remains audible in sound too.
– Duo 7, page 23: before the first note in the right hand a sharp is missing, so it should be an f# in the entire bar 18.
For clarity, there should be a natural sign for the c”’ in measure 19, cf. measure 18.
